From a Summer Job to a Career: Kevin Celebrates 20 Years with RHA

Kevin Smith joined RHA Health Services in 2005 as a CAP Worker. What began as a summer job blossomed into a fulfilling career path, and now, as a Direct Support Professional, Kevin has reached 20 years with RHA! To celebrate his professional milestone, we asked him a few questions about his career journey.

What about RHA has inspired you to dedicate 20 years of service?

Kevin: “My inspiration has been the excitement of knowing that I am making a difference.”

What is your favorite part of working with RHA?

Kevin: “My favorite part about my job is that there is a new journey every time I see the individual I support. No two days are ever the same!”

Describe a time you made a difference in someone’s life through your work.

Kevin: “I know that I am a difference maker because I have someone who is always ready to see me. The confidence given to me by the person I support makes me feel like a superhero!”
