Community Support Team Services

Community Support Team (CST) services offer robust, community-based mental health and/or substance use rehabilitation services for adults with severe mental health or addiction challenges. These services not only provide treatment, but also help improve a person’s ability to navigate daily life. They focus on amplifying coping skills, bolstering social supports, refining symptom and medication management, aiding in employment and housing attainment, and mitigating crises such as hospitalizations or incarcerations.

Community Support Team services use a team approach to assist adults in achieving their recovery goals. The members of our CST team act as advocates, monitors, and service coordinators. These professionals are dedicated to empowering individuals to build confidence, uncover their strengths, foster self-advocacy, and seamlessly integrate into their communities.

CST services, adaptable in delivery, can be administered across various settings like homes, schools, or homeless shelters, ensuring a tailored approach to fostering independence and improving life quality.

Intensive In-Home Therapeutic Services for Youth

Intensive In-Home (IIH) services offer a family-focused alternative to out-of-home placements for children facing serious behavioral health challenges. These services target youth at high risk of being placed outside the home due to unsuccessful experiences in traditional treatment settings.

IIH services aim to maintain family unity by providing time-limited, therapeutic interventions directly in the home. In-home supports include intensive case management and monitoring, therapy and substance use treatment, and family counseling – all designed to prevent out-of-home placements and preserve the family’s living arrangement.

Who is eligible to receive Intensive In-Home services?

Young individuals who have been identified with serious behavioral health challenges, such as mental health diagnoses or addictive diseases, are eligible for services. Those up to the age of 20 can access Medicaid-funded services, while state-funded services are available to those through age 17.

How long can RHA provide Intensive In-Home services to a child?

IIH Services are a time-limited intervention. Each child can receive services for a duration ranging between three and six months.

Who provides RHA’s Intensive In-Home services?

Services are delivered by a team of qualified behavioral health professionals, including a licensed clinician, a case manager, and a qualified professional (QP) in behavioral health services.
