Outpatient Services

This clinical assessment informs and facilitates recommendations for treatment. The cornerstone of the treatment process; an RHA licensed clinician ensures discretion, professionalism, and an informative experience.

Therapy services play a pivotal role in supporting each person’s journey towards mental and emotional well-being. RHA offers a safe and confidential space to explore thoughts and emotions through guided self-discovery, coping strategies, and problem solving.

RHA specializes in therapy modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and more.

RHA offers telehealth options for individual, group, and family therapy, and provides therapy options through our school-based services.

Together, these therapy services offer a holistic approach to mental health, catering to the diverse needs of individuals, groups, and families, ultimately promoting healing and well-being.

Access to psychiatric care is crucial for recovery. We offer in-person and tele-psychiatry services, using videoconferencing and internet technology for diagnosis, medication management, and therapy, which is especially helpful for isolated or underserved areas.

RHA’s PSR programs are recovery-focused day services for people living with mental health disorders that empowers adults to live independently, work towards personal goals, and manage their mental health and daily lives. Key components of each PSR include self-advocacy, personal care, daily life skills, and the discovery of employment opportunities.

RHA’s SHORE program is available in Wilmington, NC for individuals between the ages of 15-30. This specialty program aims to develop interventions for people experiencing their first episode of psychosis within the last three years. Psychosis may present itself through unusual thoughts, or seeing or hearing things that others do not.

Opioid Withdrawal Treatment & Drug Abuse – RHA Health Services

RHA’s Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program focuses on structured individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and substance use and addiction education. Relapse prevention planning includes the absence or reduction in the use of substances. Intensive services support addictions to substances such as alcohol, cocaine, heroin, and opioids. This program is offered three times a week for three hours a day. Most sites offer morning and evening groups to better serve the community.

Opioid Withdrawal Treatment & Drug Abuse – RHA Health Services

This substance use program focuses on group therapy sessions to build coping skills and individualized relapse prevention plans. Services support addictions to substances such as alcohol, cocaine, heroin, and opioids.
