Now Open: RHA’s Facility-Based Crisis Center Serving Forsyth County

RHA Health Services’ 24/7 Facility-Based Crisis Center (FBC) is now open, providing Forsyth County with immediate support for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises.

“This Facility Based Crisis Center is a new resource to Forsyth County where individuals will be able to stabilize or detox on a non-hospital level,” said Sara Huffman, Behavioral Health Vice President at RHA. “Facilities like this, and services across RHA, give people hope through their recovery journey. This facility is one step in that journey.”

The FBC provides short-term residential stabilization for individuals who need more support than outpatient care but may not require hospitalization. Our team provides a safe, supportive environment focused on stabilization and connecting individuals with the appropriate next steps in care.

“People will work with a physician, therapist, nurses, qualified professionals, and peer support specialists. It’s a collaborative experience, so people leave here with a care plan and support for their next steps,” said Rachel Kilgore, Behavioral Health Regional Director at RHA.

Accessing Services

Individuals seeking services can visit the Highland Avenue Center for a free, confidential clinical assessment. No appointment or insurance is required.
