At RHA Health Services, Nurses Week is a time to celebrate the individuals who lead with compassion, dedication, and heart. This year, we are proud to highlight Robin Correll, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)—a leader whose career reflects both professional excellence and a deep commitment to the people we serve.

Robin’s career with RHA spans more than two decades, beginning in 1999 as a Registered Nurse in Gastonia, NC. Through her dedication and leadership, she has grown alongside the organization—serving as Corporate Director of Nursing, Vice President of Nursing, and now Chief Nursing Officer since 2021.

With experience across acute care, long-term care, behavioral health, and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Robin brings a well-rounded and deeply informed perspective to nursing leadership across all RHA service lines.

For Robin, the inspiration behind her work is clear: “The individuals we support are what inspire me every day. Knowing I can make an impact in their lives is why I come to work.”

Equally important to her is mentoring others. Robin is passionate about preparing the next generation of nurses—helping them grow, succeed, and find purpose in their careers.

Robin describes RHA’s culture as family-friendly, flexible, and caring, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality of care.

It’s an environment where nurses are supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work—while also maintaining balance in their personal and professional lives.

One of the things Robin values most about RHA is the diversity of opportunities available to nurses at every stage of their careers.

From fast-paced clinical settings that build hands-on expertise, to remote roles focused on care coordination, to hybrid positions that blend clinical and administrative work—RHA offers a path for every nurse.

She often describes IDD nursing as a uniquely dynamic role: “It’s like taking all of the nursing roles and mixing them into one.”

RHA nurses serve not only as clinicians, but also as educators, advocates, care coordinators, case managers, and mentors.

According to Robin, success at RHA goes beyond clinical skill. The most important qualities include compassion, leadership, advocacy, and a genuine passion for the people we support. These are the traits that define RHA nurses and drive the impact they make every day.

When asked why someone should consider joining RHA, Robin’s response is simple: “Why not?”

RHA offers something for every nurse—but more importantly, it offers purpose.

Robin says, “If you want more than just a job, this is where you need to be. Our nurses truly make a difference in the lives of the people we support. We are a big family working together to make people’s lives better.”

Robin’s message to those considering RHA is heartfelt and genuine: “There is no place that I would rather work. The opportunity to serve alongside some of the best nurses and clinicians in the field is an honor I don’t take for granted. My heart is full every day just seeing the smiles on our individuals’ faces.”

This Nurses Week, we are proud to recognize Robin Correll for her leadership, passion, and unwavering commitment to nursing excellence.

Her journey is a powerful reminder of the impact nurses make—not just in clinical care, but in shaping lives, mentoring others, and building stronger communities.

💛 Thank you, Robin, and thank you to all our dedicated nursing staff! We are so grateful for your dedication and compassion for the people we serve, ensuring RHA is the place Where Humans Bloom.
