Recently, RHA’s Individual Placement and Support (IPS) program received an award at UNC’s Institute of Best Practices’ ACT/IPS Conference. The conference supports the statewide alignment between ACT and IPS services by providing a designated time to share information, mentor one another, elevate policy and funding issues, and bring in topicspecific speakers to deepen collective knowledge. Lindsy Glover, IPS Supported Employment Supervisor, accepted the award on behalf of her team. The award recognizes RHA’s Good Fidelity score and Highest Services rating.

In North Carolina, RHA Health Services offers an array of employment services for people with mental health and substance use needs. IPS helps individuals gain and retain employment. RHA professionals use a person-centered holistic approach and are trained in the best practices model. “Work is a powerful form of recovery for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Through IPS, employment is not treated as a distant goal, but as an essential part of healing,” says Lindsy. RHA is committed to helping individuals obtain and maintain employment and providing the support necessary for them to work as independently as possible.

Lindsy says, “Our team has come together with purpose and determination, ensuring that the people we serve continue to receive quality care and achieve meaningful, positive outcomes. I am incredibly proud that our team’s high-quality work is reflected in our Good Fidelity score. This recognition highlights our commitment to delivering evidence-based services with consistency and integrity.”

Congratulations, IPS team! You lead by example through your hard work and dedication.
