Making a Difference Through Her Work: Latrisa Celebrates 20 Years with RHA

In 2006, Latrisa Smith joined RHA as a Habilitation Technician. Over the last 20 years, she has grown in her career, changed roles, and now, she supervises three group homes.  

Latrisa says, “I realized early in my tenure that while I attempted to make a difference in others’ lives, they actually were making a difference in mine. It was easy to accrue these 20 years by simply loving what I do and who I do it for.” Every day, Latrisa strives to make an impact by actively listening to the people she supports and advocating for their wants and dreams.  

Latrisa’s favorite part about her job is “watching people supported engaging and falling in love with the activities we set forth for them.”
