We have great news! This excited kindergartener started attending public school this year. She arrived at RHA’s care facility for medically fragile children at one year old, fully dependent on a ventilator and oxygen. She has come a long way. Christine Jackson, Director of Nursing, says, “she is sassy, smart, and amazing. I fully suspect she will be teaching the class!” Recently, she also had a great time attending cheer camp at East Carolina University.

We are so excited for her. Christopher Gardner, Facility Administrator, reports that she has touched so many lives during her time at RHA. Her progress is a testament to the dedication of the doctors, nurses, teachers, therapists, and everyone who supports the people we serve. We are proud of her growth and opportunities. She is blooming!
