Employment Services

We are committed to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities while providing opportunities for businesses to hire a diverse well-trained, and committed workforce. Our goal is to obtain and maintain competitive employment and to provide the training and the skill sets needed for people to live and work as independently as possible.

We offer an array of services through vocational rehabilitation, waiver and state-funded employment services, high school transition programs, community based programs, and supports for people with mental illness and substance use issues.

Community-Based Day Services

Community-Based Day Services support each person’s full engagement in community life, based on his or her individualized needs and preferences as reflected in the person-centered ISP. Services are designed to help the person actively engage in activities in the community, including assisting the person in building relationships and strengthening natural supports. In-Home Based Day Services may be arranged when the person supported is retired or has a health/medical or behavioral condition which precludes participation in services outside of the home. Supervision, monitoring, training, education and support are provided to assist with the acquisition of skills in the following areas:

  • Leisure activities
  • Community/public events
  • Utilizing community resources (e.g. public transportation)
  • Acquiring and maintaining employment
  • Educational activities
  • Hobbies
  • Volunteer opportunities including those that may lead to potential employment
  • Maintaining contact with family and friends
