RHA Health Services provides services and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across New Jersey. We offer community-based residential, respite, day and vocational services, as well as educational services at Broadstep Academy.

COMMUNITY-BASED RESIDENTIAL AND DAY SERVICES

RHA’s New Jersey residential and day services focus on both community and comfort, empowering individuals with dignity and independence. Focused on providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities, we offer a full continuum of support which includes residential and day program services.

Our residences offer 24/7 support to empower individuals to live their best lives. Our focus is on promoting safety, person-centered growth, and community engagement to meet physical, psychological, and social needs. We are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where individuals can thrive and achieve their full potential.

COMMUNITY-BASED RESIDENTIAL AND DAY SERVICES

RHA’s residential services are designed to create a place your heart calls home. Our residences offer 24/7 support to empower individuals to live their best lives. Our focus is on promoting safety, person-centered growth, and community engagement to meet physical, psychological, and social needs.  

Our comprehensive service offerings include an evidence-based curriculum, behavior consultation, case management and care coordination, supportive therapy, medical coordination and management, recreational and leisure activities, life skills training, pre-vocational training, personal hygiene and grooming skills, socialization skills, money management, and access to community and neighborhood resources. We are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where individuals can thrive and achieve their full potential.  

At RHA, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their social and professional potential. That’s why our day and vocational services are specifically tailored to support individuals in acquiring key work-related skills to advance in their chosen careers.   

With the assistance of our specialized staff, people supported learn key work-related skills to advance in the careers of their choosing. Our day programs are thoughtfully designed to meet individual needs and interests while ensuring continuity of treatment plans.  

RHA Health Services is the primary header and Broadstep Academy is the subhead title.

BROADSTEP ACADEMY

We believe every individual can make an impact, and it’s our passion to guide each of our students to develop to their fullest potential. Broadstep Academy, our state approved private school, provides educational services to students with intellectual and developmental disorders (I/DD) that include autism and other behavioral/emotional challenges. 

Students are provided individualized education as prescribed in their Individualized Education Plan by Licensed Special Education Teachers in classrooms of 10 or fewer students. Additional services include counseling, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy (provided through Telehealth service providers in the school setting), as well as nursing care and 1:1 staffing.
